Job Summary

All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops and are required to load packages onto hand trucks and unload products at each stop on the assigned route, as designated by the Transportation Department Manager. The driver will work away from OpCo (operating company) at a designated domiciled location closer to the marketplace of the customer. The job is similar to an operating company delivery driver and is customer-facing. Responsibilities include cross-docking trucks from nightly deliveries, returning empty trucks, and assisting with loading trucks, palletizing, and other duties as assigned.

NO CDL, NO PROBLEM

All drivers run daily routes with frequent stops, loading and unloading packages as specified. The driver works at a designated location near the customer marketplace, performing similar duties to an operating company delivery driver, including cross-docking and assisting with loading and palletizing.

Responsibilities

Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated times.
Unload products from trailers and place in designated storage areas, in all weather conditions.
Lift, push, or move products weighing 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds, and reach up to 72” for stacking pallets.
Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
Communicate discrepancies, errors, and returns to management.
Handle customer complaints professionally.
Perform safety inspections and pre-trip/post-trip responsibilities per DOT regulations.
Organize trucks and make deliveries efficiently.

Qualifications

Education

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Experience

At least one year of route delivery experience or relevant straight truck driving background.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License – Class B (Class A preferred).
Ability to read and understand English.
