Job summary

FedEx Corporation is seeking a delivery driver in California to operate company vehicles, deliver and pick up packages with courtesy, and check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred. Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements and have a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Provide related customer service functions.
