Plimpton & Hills Corporation is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to support warehouse and delivery operations in the Stamford, CT area. You will conduct local deliveries, load and unload orders, and maintain accurate logs while adhering to DOT rules and safety standards.

A valid driver’s license and DOT medical card are required, with non-CDL trucks used for daily routes. The role emphasizes punctuality, customer interaction, and safe operation of delivery equipment in all weather

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Valid DOT Medical Card required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate motor vehicle, forklift, barcode reader, and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a light delivery truck (non-CDL) to complete local deliveries.
• Follow routes and time schedules; interact with customers daily.
• Load, unload, and prepare deliveries; inspect and sign packing slips and documents.
• Ensure orders are placed on proper trucks and complete shipping logs per DOT safety standards.
