Republic & T.F. Ehrhart in Peoria, IL is hiring a Driver-Warehouse to support local customer deliveries and related warehouse tasks. You will drive routes, load/unload items, ensure accuracy, and maintain equipment with an emphasis on safety.

The role requires a High School diploma, 0–2 years of warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. CDL is preferred but not required, with a customer-focused, energetic approach welcomed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma required.
• 0–2 years of warehouse experience depending on role.
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• CDL preferred; not required.
• Good customer service skills.
• Energetic.
• Attention to detail.
• Technology proficient – able to use Microsoft products and delivery scanners and tablets.
• Pass a D.O.T. physical.
• Able to pass a drug screen (If CDL).

Responsibilities

• Run a delivery route for delivering customer orders.
• Pull equipment and parts for orders, load/unload, build manifest, contact customers, confirm order details, provide proof of delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report incidents.
• Follow traffic laws and report safety infractions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Coordinate routine maintenance with Fleet Manager.
• Receive shipments, confirm quantities, inspect for damage.
• Complete receiving/transfer paperwork as required.
• Put away product and follow FIFO inventory practices.
• Occasionally cycle counts; assist other departments with inventory questions.
• Some days will involve more driving; other days in warehouse.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
