Job summary

Graybar is looking for a Delivery Driver in Omaha, NE to deliver orders with a focus on customer service and on-time performance. The role involves local routes, no overnight travel, and home evenings.

You will operate a Graybar truck, load/unload as needed, and maintain vehicle logs while adhering to safety standards. Compensation is based on hourly pay with comprehensive benefits and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and obtain CDL if required; but DOT medical exam is mandatory.
• Experience driving a van or truck ≤26,000 GVW.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the vehicle type.
• Ability to load/unload using warehouse equipment and pass PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Help determine best routes for delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers while providing excellent customer service.
• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Inspect vehicle and supplies.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Maintain proper truck logs.
• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away.
