Job summary

A&B Distributors in Lowell, AR is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customers. The role includes loading and unloading, verifying orders, and maintaining delivery equipment while delivering friendly service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of delivery driving and customer service experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, with a DOT physical required for employment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Current DOT Physical required or be able to obtain one upon employment.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of delivery driving experience.
• 1+ years customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks and other warehouse/delivery equipment.
• Ability to obtain pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport products to customer locations.
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks, hand trucks or other equipment.
• Verify orders for accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Perform all rotation, stocking & merchandising delivery functions as directed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and resolve delivery-related concerns.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while complying with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections (fuel, fluids, tires, etc.).
• Comply with all A&B safety standards, including submitting all documents as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
