Job summary

A&B Distributors of Arkansas Inc in Lowell, AR is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely and accurately deliver products to customer locations. You will load and unload using pallet jacks and hand trucks, verify orders, obtain customer signatures, and provide friendly service while maintaining delivery equipment.

This role requires meeting DOT and safety standards, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Current DOT Physical required or be able to obtain one upon employment.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of delivery driving experience.
• 1+ years customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks and other warehouse/delivery equipment.
• Ability to obtain pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles to transport products to customer locations.
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks, hand trucks or other equipment.
• Verify orders for accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
• Perform all rotation, stocking & merchandising delivery functions as directed.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and resolve delivery-related concerns.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while complying with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections (fuel, fluids, tires, etc.).
• Comply with all A&B safety standards, including submitting all documents as required.
• Adhere to all company policies and state and federal regulations.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
