Job summary

Alside, a leading exterior building products distributor, is hiring a Warehouse Driver in Milwaukee. You will perform local deliveries to residential and commercial sites, operate delivery vehicles and forklifts, and support daily warehouse operations.

You’ll follow safety protocols, maintain logs, load/unload, and coordinate with the branch and customers to ensure on-time deliveries. A valid driver’s license, clean record, and ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of driving experience.
• Experience with building products is very helpful.
• Clean driving record - no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
• Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts.
• Assist in day-to-day warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing PPE.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, and load securement policies.
• Communicate with supply center team and customers for on-time delivery.
• Review discrepancies from inventory and notify Branch Manager.
• Accurate receiving and pulling of product to ensure accurate inventory.
• Ensure all merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisor/Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.
