Job summary

You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx standards and provide related customer service support. Minimum education requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid license for the vehicle type assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with assistance.
• Strong verbal and customer-facing communication skills.
• Neat appearance suitable for customer contact.
• Must meet FMCSA Section 391 qualifications and medical exam.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Driver/operator of company vehicles delivering and picking up packages.
• Provide courteous, efficient delivery and customer service.
• Inspect shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
