Job summary

Convoy Supply Inc. in Bellingham, WA is hiring a Local Delivery Driver with a Class A or B CDL to join our construction materials team.

You will complete scheduled deliveries and pickups, inspect equipment, and help keep customers satisfied with timely, safe service. This role requires a clean CVOR abstract, at least 3 years of driving, the ability to handle manual transmissions, and the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• Class A or Class B Driver’s License (required).
• Clean CVOR abstract.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience preferred.
• Operates safely and provides excellent customer service.
• Able to drive trucks with manual transmission.
• Lifts up to 100 lbs and works outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups.
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily.
• Load and unload materials.
• Ensure load securement with corner boards.
• Match shipments to sales invoices.
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service.

We’re looking for self-sufficient, motivated Driver for our Bellingham location at 2101 Woburn Street who want to help us expand our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups
• Inspect truck and/or trailer daily
• Load and unload materials
• Ensure load securement including the installation of corner boards to protect products while in transport
• Match shipments to sales invoices
• Use Samsara to ensure compliance, safety, efficiency and customer service
• Operate truck safely

Requirements

• Class A or Class B Driver’s License
• Clean CVOR abstract
• Passionate about great service & teamwork
• Prefer a minimum of 3 years driving experience
• Dedicated to safety, on and off the road
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience in the construction/roofing business would be an asset
• Ability to drive trucks with a manual transmission
• Physically able to complete job tasks such as climbing ladders, pulling and throwing tarps, lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Pride in being on time, self-sufficient, and able to provide knowledgeable, excellent customer service
• Read and write in English, spoken Spanish is an asset
