Job summary

Viking Electric in Duluth, MN is hiring a Delivery Driver to transport essential electrical products to customers from our warehouse. The role starts early and keeps you home every night, with local, route-based deliveries and a strong focus on safety and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a Class B CDL, be at least 21, pass a DOT physical, and possess basic math and English skills. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities within the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license - Class B CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds.
• Pass and maintain DOT physical.
• Basic math and basic English communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided).
• Preferred: 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route.
• Transport and deliver products to customers with care.
• Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers.
