Job summary

Abatix is seeking a service-minded Local Delivery Driver for our brand-new Round Rock, TX branch. You will make local deliveries across Austin and surrounding areas, while supporting warehouse operations and representing the company on the road with a professional, friendly attitude.

You’ll ensure safe, timely deliveries and excellent customer service. The position requires a Class B CDL, at least 2 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and professional conduct on the road.
• CDL Class B license required.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience with FedEx/UPS online systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make local deliveries throughout the Austin area.
• Obey traffic laws and follow transportation procedures.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle and supplies for safe operation.
• Report mechanical issues promptly.
• Load and unload goods.
• Verify orders against shipping papers.
