Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, as well as hardgoods and related products. It is one of the largest U.S. suppliers of safety products. Airgas operates a modern fleet, most of which are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance, latest camera tech, and GPS navigation.

As the "face of Airgas," the Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant using a company-provided straight or box truck. The role involves loading, unloading, delivering, and returning cylinders while interacting with customers.

In particular, you will:

1. Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations. Record deliveries and pickups, obtain signatures, and return empty cylinders for refilling.
2. Establish and maintain good customer relations, addressing inquiries and complaints.
3. Communicate promptly with managers or sales associates about customer issues.
4. Perform cylinder inspections according to procedures.
5. Maintain load manifests and vehicle documents, ensuring compliance with DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas safety standards.
6. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting deficiencies.
7. Ensure safety rules are followed, report accidents or injuries.
8. Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts.
9. Work in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.
10. Perform other duties as required to meet organizational needs.

Are you a MATCH?

1. Valid Class B Driver's License.
2. Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
3. Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications (or ability to acquire).
4. At least 1 year of prior Class B driving experience within the last 5 years, with a clean record or acceptable violations.
5. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
6. Alternatively, a diploma from an accredited driving school or relevant experience may be considered.

Must be at least 21 years old.
