Location: Ferndale, MI - Filling industrial

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the "face of Airgas", the Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck. The Delivery Driver loads, unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers. Call Kevin Garner at 440-596-2423.

• First shift, local home nightly, immediate hire!
• Safely loads, delivers, and unloads cylinders containing compressed gases to customer locations, records deliveries and pick-ups, and obtains signatures for receipt.
• Establishes and maintains good customer relations, resolving service inquiries and complaints.
• Provides timely communication to managers or sales associates regarding customer issues.
• Maintains load manifests and vehicle documents, ensuring compliance with safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations (DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, OSHA).
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Works in warehouse or on dock as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

• Valid Class B Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat Endorsement.
• At least 1 year of prior Class B professional driving experience within the last 5 years, with a clean driving record (no more than 2 convictions, or 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years, or a combination thereof), or a diploma from an accredited driving school with at least 1 year of recent driving experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
