Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. in Clovis, NM is hiring a Local Delivery Driver (CDL A or B) for 1st shift. You will make 10-12 daily stops delivering products, complete paperwork, and provide excellent customer service while complying with DOT rules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid CDL A or B (hazmat preferred or endorsement within 60 days), and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years driving experience or recent Truck Driving School certification with valid CDL.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or obtain within 60 days of hire.
• No major violations or alcohol-related convictions in the last 10 years.
• Must pass DOT physical and obtain medical certificate.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Build relationships with customers to meet business goals
• Continuously learn about Linde’s business operations

• You will deliver products to customers by making an average of 10-12 stops per day, while touching freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
• Accurately count and record the quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• You are expected to complete hazardous material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT regulations

What Makes You Great

• You have a high school diploma or GED, along with proficiency in reading and writing in English
• You will have two (2) years of consecutive driving experience or recent certification from a Truck Driving School, along with a valid Class A or B CDL
• This role requires you to be 21 years or older
• You currently have a hazmat endorsement on your CDL or must obtain one within 60 days of hire
• You are expected to not have any preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• You must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical certificate
• You have the ability to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required

Pay Range: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour depending on experience.
