Location: Salt Lake City, UT

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the "face of Airgas," the Local Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck. The role involves loading, unloading, delivering, and returning cylinders while interacting with customers.

At Airgas, you'll be part of a professional team that encourages internal mobility and promotes work/life balance. Our fleet is modern, with most vehicles under 6 years old, equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance, camera systems, and GPS.

Position Title: LOCAL DELIVERY DRIVER

Schedule: Monday - Friday, local deliveries. Home Daily!

Vehicle Requirements: Straight Truck - Class A or B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement (can be obtained post-offer).

In particular, you will:

• Drive trucks over established routes to deliver and sell products.
• Perform non-route deliveries as needed.
• Write customer orders and instructions.
• Record sales and delivery information.
• Resolve service complaints.
• Distribute sales promotion materials.
• Collect or pick up containers and rejected merchandise; load trucks.
• Obtain customer signatures for pickups and deliveries.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document deficiencies.
• Comply with company policies and DOT requirements.
• Assist inside the retail branch with customer service.
• Attend safety meetings.
• Assist with other drivers' duties as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

• At least one year of Class A or B CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or graduation from an accredited driving school.
• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (Hazmat can be obtained after hire).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Current Medical Examiner's Card.
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets.
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs. routinely, and over 125 lbs. with equipment.
• Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime if necessary.
