Location: Craig, CO - Retail shop

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

As the "face of Airgas," the Local Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck. The Local Delivery Driver loads, unloads, delivers, and returns compressed gas cylinders while frequently interacting with Airgas customers.

As a Local Delivery Driver at Airgas, you will be part of a professional team that encourages internal mobility and offers a work/life balance. Our modern fleet, mostly under 6 years old, is equipped with driver-friendly technology such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance systems, latest camera tech, and GPS navigation.

Position Details:

• Location: Craig, CO
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, local deliveries, home daily
• Vehicle: Straight Truck (Class A or B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement required)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive truck over established route to deliver and sell products.
2. Perform non-route deliveries as needed.
3. Write customer orders and instructions.
4. Record sales/delivery info daily.
5. Resolve service complaints.
6. Distribute sales promotion materials.
7. Collect/return empty containers or rejected merchandise; load truck.
8. Obtain customer signatures on receipts.
9. Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and document deficiencies.
10. Comply with company policies and DOT requirements.
11. Assist inside the retail branch with customer service.
12. Attend safety meetings.
13. Assist with other drivers' duties as needed.

Are you a MATCH?

• At least 1 year of Class A or B CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or graduated from an accredited driving school.
• Class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement (can be obtained post-offer).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Current Medical Examiner's Card.
• Ability to read and understand MSDS.
• Ability to lift 25-75 lbs routinely, up to 125+ lbs with equipment.
• Ability to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Occasional overtime may be required.

Pay Range: $27.00 Hourly

Incentive Pay: Eligible for quarterly bonus program.
