Job summary

Linde Inc in Deer Park, TX seeks a Local Home Daily Tanker Driver to deliver industrial gases by tractor trailer. You will perform pre-trip inspections, connect hoses, monitor temps and pressure, and comply with DOT regulations while maintaining accurate logs.

The role offers a home daily schedule, set shifts with back-to-back days off, weekly pay, 401k match, pension, and comprehensive benefits. Prior cryogenic tanker experience is a plus; safety is the top priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years verifiable tanker trailer experience and/or three years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Previous cryogenics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Trailer coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) when needed.
• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, ensuring secure couplings and proper handling of cryogenic tanks, hoses, and fittings.
• Monitor pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery to ensure safe unloading.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and handling of cryogenic gases.
• Ensure hazardous material shipping orders/papers are in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logbooks, and records in compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance.
• Maintain a professional partnership with internal and external customers to meet goals and objectives of the business and customer needs.
• Continuously building your knowledge on how Linde’s business operates and succeeds to help organization to continue growing.
• Other duties as assigned.
