Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Driver to deliver industrial gases to customer sites using tractor trailers. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, safe loading/unloading of cryogenic gases, and maintaining DOT-compliant documentation.

Some deliveries may require government facilities and enhanced background checks in line with safety protocols. Locations include Gadsden, AL and Charleston, TN.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years tractor trailer and/or 2 years tanker experience.
• HS diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Trailer coupling and uncoupling (drop and hook) when needed
• Connect and disconnect transfer hoses, ensuring secure couplings
• Monitor pressure levels and temperature readings during delivery
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during loading, unloading, and handling of cryogenic gases
• Ensure hazardous material shipping orders/papers are in accordance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logbooks, and records in compliance with DOT and company policies
• Identify need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
• Deliver to government facilities and other customer locations requiring extensive background checks and heightened security compliance
