Weekly Pay: $1,541.52

Job Description

Department: Med/Surg

Shift Timings: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours, Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hours shift.

Per Week: 36 Hours

36 hours - EOW; EOH; 2 years PCU / Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience required; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, if needed

Roles & Responsibilities

Implements and monitors patient care plans.

Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.

Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications

  • BLS and ACLS
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Passionate about patient care
  • Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg experience.
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license
  • One year of Cerner FirstNet experience

Requirements

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
