WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,160 per week for this role.
Job Function:
Prepares, administers (oral, subcutaneous, or IV), and accurately documents prescribed medications.
Reports any adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with established policies.
Educates patients about surgical procedures and records their medical information and vital signs.
Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interpreting and documenting readings from electronic displays.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current RN license in the state of New York.
2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
EPIC EHR experience is required.
