WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Mother Baby Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Providence, RI.

Job Function

• Night Shift.
• 5x8: 11pm - 7:30am.
• Categorize patients according to the appropriate level of classification.
• Identify emergency situations, consider patient age, and notify the provider promptly.
• Administer medications following the five rights of safety, infection control guidelines, and provider’s orders.
• Screen patients for pain during the initial assessment and perform reassessments according to established guidelines.
  
  

Job Requirements

• 2 years of Mother-Baby RN experience.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of Rhode Island.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association required.
• Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
