Job summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Evansville, IN. The position requires 1–3 years of ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and an active Indiana RN license.

Cerner experience is preferred as the role includes direct patient care in a demanding ICU environment. The shift is 18:30–07:00 with three 12-hour nights, totaling 36 hours per week; compensation is $46.70 per hour plus OT.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS are required.
• NIH knowledge or exposure is preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited RN program.
• Active, unencumbered Indiana RN license.
• Cerner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients in ICU.
• Implement medical care plans.
• Direct and supervise patient care by nursing staff on the unit.
• Maintain unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department:Intensive Care Unit

Shift Timings:18:30 – 07:00 3 days 12-hour shift. Monday to Friday

Per Week:36 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities

• Providing nursing care to acutely or critically ill patients with an assigned unit or clinic;
• Implementing medical care plans;
• Directing and supervising the patient care provided by nursing personnel assigned to the unit;
• Maintaining standard unit activities in the absence of the Head Nurse; and
• Performing other related duties as assigned/required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN ICU experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Indiana state license
• One year of Cerner experience
