WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Emergency Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Rochester, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,174.4 per week for this role.

Job Function

• Mid Shift.
• 3x12: 3pm - 3am.
• Manage the care of adult and pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions requiring complex assessments and high-intensity interventions.
• Provide support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout their emergency room experience.
• Maintain close communication with the healthcare team and independently identify the need for early intervention.
• Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing as needed.
• Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, and blood draws.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN license for the state of New York.
• 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• EPIC experience required.
