Shift Details

• Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Qualifications

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as an RN.
• A valid and current RN license issued by the State of VA
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during treatments and examinations.
• Observe patients, record significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or physician of patient condition and reactions to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations and assess patient condition.
• May assist with basic patient care such as beds, bathing, and feeding.
• May serve as a leader for a group of personnel providing nursing care to a number of patients.
• Additional RN duties as assigned by Supervisor.
