Job summary

Continuum Medical Staffing is seeking a Physician Assistant for an Urgent Care local contract in North Carolina. The role is outpatient, sees all ages, and involves three 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Candidates must have active NC license, DEA, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and at least two years of NP/PA urgent care experience. The assignment lasts 12 weeks with travel accommodations provided.

Qualifications

• Two years or more NP/PA urgent care experience is required.
• Active North Carolina license to practice is mandatory.
• DEA certification is required for this assignment.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urgent care to all ages in a 12-hour shift setting.
• Average 35-40 patients per day with no routine on-call requirement.
• Rotate 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts (Mon–Fri).
• Possibly work weekends based on clinical needs.
