Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license and Hawaii state registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assessments, evaluations, and treatment services to students.
• Deliver in-person PT services in line with IEP goals and educational plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, manually or electronically.
• Complete IEP documentation and year-end progress reports as required.
• Collaborate with school staff, families and interdisciplinary teams regarding progress and therapy plans.
• Monitor and document student progress and make recommendations for ongoing therapy services.

Position Summary

RCM Healthcare Services is hiring school-based Physical Therapists (PTs) for positions throughout all islands of Hawaii. This role involves providing physical therapy evaluations, treatment services, and educational support to students in a collaborative school-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Shift details: Monday-Friday following school schedule
• Hours per week: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Contract length: ASAP - May 27, 2027

Key Duties

• Provide physical therapy assessments, evaluations, and treatment services to students
• Deliver in-person physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and educational plans
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions manually or electronically
• Complete IEP documentation and end-of-year process reports as required
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding student progress and therapy plans
• Monitor and document students' progress and make recommendations for ongoing therapy services
• Provide guidance and support to school staff regarding students' physical and mobility needs

Requirements

Education

Required: Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Licenses & Certifications

Preferred: Active Physical Therapist license and registration in the state of Hawaii
