Business Integra Inc is seeking a local contract nurse RN Pediatrics PACU - Post Anesthetic Care for a local contract nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, evenings, nights, rotating
• Employment Type: Local Contract

PACU RN – PM Shift (12-Hour Evenings/Nights)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift Details:

• 36 hours per week
• Shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Must be available to work any combination of listed shifts
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• No on-call
• May float to Moakley PACU as needed

Required Experience:

• Minimum 2 years PACU Phase 1 Recovery experience
• Experience with complex surgical cases: Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, Ortho Spine
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Must independently read/interpret telemetry rhythm strips and identify heart blocks
• Must pass Telemetry Test on Day 1 with 84% or higher

Certifications (Required):

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Preferred:

• TNCC

Case Types:

• Trauma, Pediatrics, Ortho, General, Cardiac Cath
• Interventional Radiology (IR), Neuro (IR), Electrophysiology (EP)
• 30–60 cases per day on average
• Unit operates 24/7
