• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Job Description for PACU:

• Parking Reimbursement: $250/Month in the first pay cheque
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (36 hours/week), includes every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
• No on-call requirement
• Start times vary: Days (6A, 7A, 8A) and Evenings (9A, 10A, 11A)
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 2+ years of recent PACU experience, with strong Phase 1 recovery skills; experience in complex surgical cases including neuro, thoracic, vascular, and ortho spine; Pediatric experience is preferred
• Telemetry Skills: Must independently read and interpret rhythm strips and identify heart blocks; required to pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 84% or higher
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; TNCC certification is preferred
• Unit & Case Details: May float to Moakley PACU if needed; handles a wide variety of cases: trauma, pediatrics, ortho, general, cardiac cath, IR, neuro IR, and EP; the unit operates 24/7 and manages 30–60 cases daily
