Job Details

• Schedule: 40 hours/week | Day Shift | The facility will consider:
• Five 8-hour shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts
• Two 8-hour shifts + two 12-hour shift
• Shift: Starting at 6:30 AM
• Contract Duration: 18 weeks
• Dates: September 21, 2026 – January 24, 2027
• On-Call: No Pay
• Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
• Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.

Qualifications/Initial Requirement

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut or eligible compact license.
• Previous Operating Room/OR nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and sterile technique.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
