Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am.

• Categorizes patients according to appropriate classification levels.

• Applies and interprets external fetal monitoring and uterine activity.

• Implements interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status.

• Identifies emergencies and notifies the provider appropriately.

• Administers medications following safety and infection control guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.

• 2 years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery.

• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association are required.

• Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
