WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a renowned hospital in Pennington, NJ.


Job Function:

  • Night Shift.
  • 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am.
  • Categorize patients into appropriate classification levels based on clinical assessments.

  • Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.

  • Implement interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.

  • Identify emergency situations and promptly notify the provider, considering the patient's age and condition.

  • Administer medications following safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and provider orders.


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or hold a BSN.

  • Current RN license for the state of New Jersey.

  • 2 years of acute care experience in the specialty.

  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.

  • C-EFM certification required. Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
