WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a renowned hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ.

Job Function:

• Night Shift, 7pm - 7am.
• Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, assess fetal heart tracings and uterine activity.
• Implement interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor.
• Identify and respond to emergencies, notifying providers as needed.
• Administer medications following safety and infection control protocols.
• Assist physicians or midwives during labor and delivery procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience in Labor and Delivery or related field.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
