Role: Adult Care / Home Health Care Nurse

Location: New York City, NY

Job Description: This is for Bronx Borough. Patient range from 18 years old to 100 years old. THIS ROLE IS FOR TRUE AT HOME, nurse must travel to patient comes within the Bronx borough to provide care. This will be for the Manhattan borough. Patient cases can range anywhere from 5-8 cases a day. Client is flexible with days of work it can be: Sunday to Wed, Thursday to Saturday etc. but must do consistent days. There is no overnight coverage. When you submit candidates, please outline what days they are willing to work etc.

Knowledgeable In

• Demonstrated knowledge regarding Federal, State and local regulations and JCAHO standards for Home Care.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated competence as a registered nurse in patient assessments and critical thinking skills.
• Previous experience using various computer software applications: i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, etc.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Current 1+ years of current Adult Care RN experience
• Current New York RN License
• A valid New York State license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State; and a. Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing or higher (or other nursing degree, as identified by NYS Education Department including Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Science) from an accredited college or university, registered with the NYSED; or b. Obtains a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing or higher, as described in “a” above, within ten (10) years of the date of initial licensure; and Holds, or obtains through facility orientation, a valid and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA); and One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse; and Ability to travel regularly to patient/client assignments across New York City via public transportation and/or private vehicle; and Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development.

• Final RTO or any scheduling requests
• Two Supervisory References from the past two years of employment

Local Hourly Pay: $70.00

Local Weekly Package: $2800.00

Travel Hourly Pay: $30.00

Travel Stipend: $2000.00

Travel Weekly Package: $3200.00
