Private Duty LPN jobs for the 2024/2025 School Year are now open across the St. Louis area. American Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Private Duty LPN for school-based contract positions throughout the St. Louis area for the 24/25 school year.

LPN – Private Duty Job Details:

Pay Rate: $21-$31 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday – no call, no weekends, no holidays
Hours: School bell hours, approximately 35 hours per week
Contract: 2024/2025 school year with optional summer school
Located In: St. Louis, MO

Requirements:

Qualified applicants MUST be licensed as an LPN and willing to obtain MO licensure. Relevant pediatric experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:
  1. Monitoring the student’s vitals and symptoms—administering medication and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
  2. Providing skilled nursing care to the student in the classroom, including medication management and helping with feeding/hygiene.
  3. Monitoring progress and response to treatment, collaborating with the care team on medical needs and changes, and supporting the student as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Providing emotional support to students and families coping with medical concerns.
