KC Mechanical in Vermont is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance / Refrigeration Technician to service local restaurants, schools, and institutions. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain hot- and cold-side equipment, performing preventive maintenance and warranty work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair and/or refrigeration.
• EPA Certification preferred and strong refrigeration troubleshooting ability.
• Experience with mixers, grinders, slicers, and similar equipment is a plus.
• Working knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems.
• Customer-focused mindset with professional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain hot-side and cold-side commercial kitchen equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and warranty work for leading manufacturers.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch; document work thoroughly.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
