Job summary

Safety-Kleen Linden, NJ is seeking a Local Class B Route Driver to join our safety-minded team. You will be responsible for the pickup of waste oil and antifreeze at customer locations such as garages, auto dealerships, fleet maintenance shops, and more, operating a Class B tanker with 10-15 stops daily.

Minimum CDL Class B with Tank endorsement and Hazmat eligibility is required; prior route experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class B CDL required.
• Tank endorsement and experience required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat.
• Experience operating manual 10-speed vehicles.
• Previous route experience preferred.
• Ability to use a handheld device (ELD).
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operate a Class B Tanker, making 10-15 stops per day.
• Pump out tanks and drums using hoses; Sample collection.
• Generate new leads in the field at customer locations.
