Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is hiring a Driver to operate a Class B vehicle and transport life-saving medical products to local customers. The role involves loading and securing cargo, safe driving, timely deliveries, and providing on-site customer support.

The position requires a valid US driver’s license, a CLP for Class B (or Class E per state), and at least two years of driving experience. A clean driving record and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are also required.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license and CLP for Class B or Class E if required by state.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Must meet all Federal and State requirements for the operation of CMVs and have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class B vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Abide by Medline's safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing questions and providing documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust routes or schedules to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation and adequate fuel levels.
