Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Driver for MedTrans, its private fleet that delivers medicinal products nationwide. You will operate a Class B vehicle, load and secure goods, and ensure safe, timely deliveries to commercial and residential customers.

Responsibilities include unloading at customer sites, assisting customers, and coordinating with dispatch to optimize routes. A valid US driver's license with CLP or Class B/E and at least two years of driving experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license and CLP for Class B or Class E license if required by state.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class B vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
• Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.
