Job summary

XPO is hiring a Class B Local Truck Driver in Nashville, TN. You will operate straight trucks, load and unload freight, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass a DOT drug test.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test (physical essential functions).
• Availability to work a flexible schedule up to 12-14 hours in a day (day, night, weekend).
• Possess or obtain Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify as Non-Exempt Interstate.
• Hazardous materials and tank endorsements within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR or GVW of 26,001 lb. or more).
• Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate a straight truck per state regulations for intrastate commercial straight trucks.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freight.
