Job summary

XPO, Inc. is hiring a Class B Local Truck Driver in Jessup, MD. You will operate a straight truck, load and unload freight, and deliver excellent service to customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass DOT drug test with no prior positives or refusals.
• Pass company DOT physical and pre-hire test.
• Flexible schedule up to 12–14 hours/day including day, night, weekend shifts.
• Obtain Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify Non-Exempt Interstate within 90 days.
• Hazardous materials and tank endorsements preferred or obtainable within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR 26,001 lb. or more).
• Provide excellent customer service, including generating leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate truck per state intrastate regulations.
• Use forklift and pallet jack to load/unload freight.
