Maine Oxy is seeking a Class B Route Driver to service local routes in Massachusetts. The role offers a $29–$30 hourly pay, with a $2500 sign-on bonus and steady day shifts.

You will deliver compressed gas cylinders and hard goods, perform inspections, and maintain accurate paperwork, returning home every night. We value safety and teamwork; expect to meet DOT/OSHA standards, handle cylinders, and use forklifts or pallet jacks as needed.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes
• At least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of driving experience or driving school training in the past four years
• A clean record: no at-fault accidents or moving violations in the past three years
• Able to meet DOT physical qualification standards
• Able to read Safety Data Sheets and comfortable with basic computer order entry
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus, not a requirement

Responsibilities

• Run a scheduled local route delivering cylinders and hard goods, and return empties for refilling
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document any issues
• Keep load manifests and vehicle paperwork accurate and balanced with truck counts
• Build good customer relationships and help them stay ahead of their cylinder needs
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and keep the truck clean and professional
