Job summary

Maine Oxy is hiring a CDL-A driver for local Auburn, ME routes. You’ll earn $32 per hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus, home every night and weekends, and overtime typically available on a full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include delivering cylinders and hard goods, pre/post-trip inspections, keeping accurate manifests, and operating warehouse equipment. Qualifications include HazMat and airbrakes, 21+ with a clean driving record, and 1 year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and airbrakes.
• Minimum 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of driving experience or recent driving school training.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to meet DOT physical standards and read Safety Data Sheets.
• Experience handling compressed gases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run scheduled local routes delivering cylinders and hard goods and return empties for refilling.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document issues.
• Keep manifests and paperwork accurate; balance with truck counts.
• Build customer relationships and ensure cylinder needs.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Follow DOT and OSHA regulations and maintain truck cleanliness.
