Job summary

Conklin Metal Industries in Doraville, GA is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for local deliveries to contractors and fabricators. You’ll load, secure, and verify freight, perform pre-trip inspections, and operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL and clean MVR.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to hook/unhook trailers and unload freight.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Professional, customer-facing attitude.

Responsibilities

• Out by 7am, back by 4pm most days.
• Local and regional deliveries to contractors and fabricators.
• Load, secure, and verify freight against bills of lading.
• Pre-trip inspections and accurate log maintenance.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Driving Class B vehicles and heavier freight.
• Freight is sheet metal, HVAC supplies, and duct fabrication materials.
