Job summary

Conklin Metal Industries in Mobile, AL is hiring a CDL Driver to run local delivery routes, delivering and picking up materials between branches and job sites. You’ll be home every night with a Monday–Friday schedule, ensuring a steady, year-round routine.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and secure materials, and maintain accurate logs. CDL Class A or B and an active DOT medical card are required, along with a clean driving record and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Active DOT Medical Card required.
• Clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Capable of handling materials up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday and stay local.

Responsibilities

• Run local delivery routes in the Mobile area.
• Deliver and pick up materials between branches and job sites.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections every day.
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and logs.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch and the branch team.
• Keep your truck clean, organized, and ready to go.
