Job summary

XPO is hiring a Class B Local Truck Driver in Plainfield, IN. The role requires a valid Class B CDL without air brake restrictions, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass DOT drug testing and a company-paid DOT physical. Endorsements (hazmat and tank) are required or must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass a DOT drug test with no prior positives or refusals.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test.
• Flexible schedule up to 12–14 hours/day (day, night, weekends).
• Must obtain Federal Medical Certificate and self-certify as Non-Exempt Interstate.
• Possess or obtain hazardous materials and tank endorsements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR ≥ 26,001 lb).
• Provide excellent customer service, including generating sales leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate a straight truck per state regulations for intrastate operations.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack to load/unload freight.
