Kirchner Building Centers in Aviston, IL is seeking a reliable Class B CDL Driver to join our family-owned team. Local routes, home daily, and building materials delivery are core responsibilities.

You must have a Class B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire. Compensation ranges from $25 to $30 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL endorsement (Class B required).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days of hire (training/testing provided).
• Able to travel to and from work in Aviston, IL daily.

Responsibilities

• Trucks and forklift must be kept clean and in working condition.
• Perform pre-trip inspection of truck and routine maintenance.
• Inform manager of necessary truck repairs and maintenance to schedule promptly.
• Check delivery product for accuracy and secure load.
• Communicate with customers about delivery and obtain signatures.
• Unload material by hand or operate a Boom Truck or Moffett Forklift.
• Assist customers in the yard in a professional manner.
• Adhere to safety and health standards per OSHA and Kirchner Building Centers.
• Operate a yard forklift responsibly.
• Follow local traffic laws.
