Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. in North Huntingdon, PA is seeking a Class B Local Truck Driver. You will safely operate a straight truck, load and unload freight, and deliver excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads.

The role offers pay starting at $27.36/hour with full health insurance on day one, life and disability insurance, 13 days PTO in the first year, nine paid holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and education assistance. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Class B CDL without air brake restriction.
• Safe driving record and history.
• Pass a DOT drug test.
• Pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire test.
• Flexible schedule up to 12–14 hours/day including day, night and weekend shifts.
• Willing to obtain Federal Medical Certificate and Non-Exempt Interstate status.
• Hazardous materials and tank endorsements within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a straight truck (GVWR 26,001 lb. or more).
• Provide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leads.
• Load and unload freight.
• Operate a straight truck per state intrastate regulations.
• Operate a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload freight.
