Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Class B CDL driver responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading freight between service centers and customers. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, paperwork accuracy, and safe operation of forklift when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• At least 18 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Class B CDL with HazMat and Tank Endorsement.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI/citation in past 3 years.
• Less than 2 moving violations in past 3 years.
• Able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load, and unload freight between Service Centers and customers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer.
• Document freight control processes accurately.
• Read maps, road signs, papers, and hazardous materials markings.
• Operate a forklift to unload/load products when needed.
• Adhere to Dayton Freight’s procedures and training programs.
