Job summary

21st Century Personnel seeks a Local Class A Truck Driver to operate within a 250-mile radius and be home daily on a dedicated account. Shift options include 1st or 2nd, with local deliveries and live loads on backhaul potential.

Newer automatic trucks, paid orientation in NC, and full benefits after 30 days are offered. Expect about 400–450 miles daily, 2–4 stops, and a weekly SSA bonus. Compensation includes $25/hour and an average weekly pay around $1,300 plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL and clean MVR.
• 1 year Class A CDL tractor trailer driving experience in the past 3 years or 2 years in the past 5 years.
• Experience with comparable equipment (45 ft or longer).
• No DUI/DWI ever in a commercial vehicle; convictions in a personal vehicle must be >8 years old.

Local Class A Truck Drive r

1st shift or 2nd shift

Drivers will be delivering locally within a 250-mile radius. This is a dedicated account for one customer.

Stores are drop and hook. Backhauls can be live load.

Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs

Various start/end times available. We will go over all shift info. during our phone interview, so that you can choose what times fit you best.

Home daily

$25 an hour. $75 weekly SSA bonus

$1300 average weekly pay + bonus

Drivers can get 400 – 450 miles with 2-4 stops per day

• Must be 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL license. Must reside in the same state that the license was issued in
• Must have at least 1 year Class A CDL tractor trailer driving experience in the past 3 years or 2 years in the past 5 years
• Experience must be with comparable equipment (45 foot or longer)
• All applicants must have a good MVR, background and a stable job history with little to no unemployment
• No more than 2 jobs in the last year and no more than 4 jobs in the last 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordables in the last 5 years
• No DUI's/DWI's ever in a commercial vehicle. All convictions in a personal vehicle must be at least 8 years old.

*** Local experience will count if the driver has been driving in the same states as regional position**

Paid orientation in NC. Average of 1 day depending on what drivers can complete before they leave. We will take care of transportation etc..
